Engineering Capabilities
Putnam Precision Molding’s belief is that the best method to ensure product quality is to design quality into the product and service from the start.
Our engineering department has many years of experience in mold design and construction as well as material selection. We pride ourselves on early vendor involvement and concurrent engineering. We are working with the latest state of the art computer based engineering systems.

Manufacturing
Our 24-hour manufacturing and distribution facility in
Putnam,
Connecticut is strategically located at exit 95 off I-395. Our 66,000 square foot building is made up of 7,000 square feet for administration and 59,000 square feet devoted to the following areas:
- Fully insured, temperature and humidity controlled mold vault
- Heat treating ovens for the curing process of plastic parts
- Molding Area and Injection Molding presses from 40 to 500 ton
- Material Storage Area
- Post molding assembly/finishing operations
- Quality Control
- Fully Equipped Machine Shop
- Warehouse/Shipping Areas
- Onsite Maintenance Department
- Temperature controlled room for assembly procedures
